Rachel Barge is a nationally recognized environmental leader and winner of the David Brower Youth Award, Wild Gift Fellowship, Morris K. Udall Fellowship, and World Wildlife Fund Environmental Leadership Award.  As an undergraduate, Rachel co-created The Green Initiative Fund at UC Berkeley, a $2 million revolving loan that enacts large-scale energy, infrastructure, and sustainability upgrades to the campus, as well as creates student internships. Rachel has now launched Campus INpower, and will travel the country next year training dozens of student organizers how to establish large funding mechanisms at their universities.  Rachel is a 2008 graduate of University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Conservation and Resources Studies and Forestry.

Keith Brower Brown is currently in his third-year of undergraduate work at UC Berkeley, in Geography and Environmental Economics & Policy. Originally from Portland, OR, he has worked as a research intern for Green For All, the Portland Farmer’s Market, and the UC’s Transportation Sustainability Research Center. He organized for a campaign to stop the BP-Berkeley partnership, was an environmental educator in the Berkeley dorms, and received UC Berkeley’s 2008 Lipson Essay Prize for Humanistic Values.
